Your team works in the kitchen. Your clients wait in the Lobby.

Lobby is where your agency and your clients talk about the work. The task itself is a linked GitHub issue, so your team keeps working in GitHub and your clients never have to.

Free for 14 days. No card needed.

Clients see the navy and cream paper. Only your team sees the mustard.

How it works

  1. A client writes in the Lobby

They start or continue a discussion in the app, or simply reply to the notification email. Attachments come along either way.

  2. Your team works the issue in GitHub

Link an existing GitHub issue or create one from the discussion. Code, commits and review stay in the kitchen. The conversation stays in the Lobby.

  3. Time rolls into the budget, and you see the margin

Time logged on the discussion counts against the budget it belongs to, so the quoted value sits next to the real cost and the margin between them.

What Lobby does

Discussions are the heart of it. Clients, projects, budgets and time exist to organize those discussions and to tell you whether the work paid off.

Discussions clients actually read

Each discussion is a thread between your team and one client. Clients reply in the app or by replying to the notification email, and their message lands in the thread with any attachments: screenshots, documents, exports.

Team-only notes sit in the same thread on mustard paper. They never reach the client, not in the app and not by email.

The task lives in GitHub

Link an existing issue to a discussion, or create one from it. The issue body links back to the Lobby thread, and Lobby shows the issue's state, labels and assignees next to the conversation.

Your engineers work the issue where they already work. Lobby keeps the client conversation attached to it.

Budgets built for value pricing

Clients have projects. Projects are fixed price, retainers with monthly or quarterly periods generated for you, or internal. Each project holds budgets with a quoted value, and each discussion belongs to a budget.

Time logged on discussions rolls into the budget, so you see quoted value against internal cost, the margin, and your effective hourly rate. Lobby is built for pricing on value, not for burning down hours. Clients never see time or cost.

A concierge, or bring your own agent

The Concierge answers questions about your clients, projects, discussions and time from the real data: which retainers are over budget this quarter, who is waiting on a reply, what happened on a project last week.

Lobby is also an MCP server. Connect Claude Code, Codex or any other MCP client and let it read discussions, draft and post replies, log time, link or create GitHub issues and run reports, with exactly the permissions of the person whose token it uses.
